1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TarionFounders ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users including founders, investors, and administrators.
2. Platform Description
TarionFounders is an AI-powered investment platform connecting African startups with investors. We provide AI scoring, pitch analysis, investor matching, and a mentorship programme. We are a technology platform and are not a licensed investment advisor, broker, or financial institution.
3. Investment Disclaimer
All investments carry risk. You may lose some or all of your capital.
- TarionFounders AI scores are informational only and do not constitute investment advice
- Past performance of startups on the platform does not guarantee future results
- Investors should conduct their own due diligence before making any investment
- TarionFounders is not responsible for the accuracy of information submitted by founders
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as necessary. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
5. Founder Obligations
Founders submitting startups to TarionFounders confirm that all information provided is accurate and not misleading. Submitting false information, including fabricated traction metrics, may result in permanent account suspension and may have legal consequences under applicable law.
6. Payments & Refunds
Mentorship programme fees are charged in advance. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase and before the programme start date. Investment transactions facilitated through the platform are subject to separate agreements between founders and investors.
7. Intellectual Property
TarionFounders owns all intellectual property in the Platform including the AI scoring models, design, and code. Users retain ownership of content they submit. By submitting content, you grant TarionFounders a non-exclusive licence to use it for operating and improving the Platform.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TarionFounders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform, including investment losses, loss of data, or loss of business opportunities.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
